Workshop to prevent rumor and disinformation at online held in Jashore

Two daylong workshop was held in Jashore to prevent rumor and disinformation at online. After the workshop certificate was gave away to the participants. Tusher Kumar Paul, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Jashore presented the certificate Institute for Environment and Development (IED) Jashore Center organized the workshop during October 6-7, 2023 with support of The Asia Foundation, Dhaka.

Prior that, the two daylong workshop was started at 9 am on October 6, 2023. At the first day of the workshop, Shantanau Majumder, Prof. of Political Science, University of Dhaka taught the participants on disinformation. Siam Sarower Jamil, Resercher, ICT of IED and Hafiz Adnan Riyad were the trainers of the last day. Total 25 trainees that included media activist, teacher student of university, cultural activists, development researcher and staff attended the workshop.

The workshop spoke by Senior Journalist and Freedom Fighter Rokunuddowla, Senior Coordinator of IED Jyoti Chattopadhyay, Mananger of IED Jashore Center Bithika Sarker and Program Organizer Ripon Karmaker.
