Sonartori, the IED organized group is situated at Kazipara Kathaltala of Jashore City. Nayani is the chairperson of this group. Her father could not bear educational expense with low income. Her father married off her at the age of 12 years while she was studying at class VII. Her family could not run well off due to husband’s poor income and she was seeking path of income. In that time, she got introduced with IED. She regularly took part in the group’s awareness session meeting of IED. Nayani’s family was not affording properly with little of income of her husband. She received training on tailoring organized by IED. She kept doing tailoring work from home regularly as well as she started stitching work by taking order from tailor shop. Then she got involved with IED organized market entrepreneurs group and received training on entrepreneur skill development and started to communicate with local market committee.  She learned stitching techniques training provided from IED. Gradually her business began to expand.

She begins to do tailoring as well as stitching work. She started to provide financial support to her husband to open a tea shop. In that time, it was needed to invest more capital to her business. She discussed the matters at group meeting. She was told to communicate with different bank to get loan. Observing the dynamic and hardworking attitude the Bank authority disbursed TK.49000/- (forty nine thousand) as loan. The she purchased 1 lock machine and 1 more tailoring machine by this loan. She got involved 3 members from the women group to assist her work. Bank authority became satisfied with the growth of business and regular loan repayment they disbursed her TK. 100000/- (one lac) more in the 2nd phase. Getting this loan, she continued to expand her business. She was making good profit and repaid loan properly. Then Nayani decided to open one cloth shop. With this ideas, she applied for SME loan of TK. 500000/- (five lac). The Bank Authority became pleased to see the progress of her business. Bank manager assured Nayani to provide loan TK. 500000/- (five lac) for her good performance and regular transaction with bank, she got the loan within the few days. She also continues the tailoring work simultaneously. She has created employment for women group members involving them in her enterprise.

Nayani plays important role in the group apart from her income earning activities. She comprehends that women should have to be aware about their rights along with earning income. She does protest against any types of torture or irregularities in her area involving group members. Besides, different kinds of festivals are organized led by her in the area. Nayani is a person of embedding many qualities. She is the inspiration of other members of women groups.
