An unemployed IP youth Niranjan now earning TK. 12000 per month

Niranjan is an IP youth living in Sherpur. He was an unemployed youth but trying to find out different opportunities to get involved for employment. He is also an active youth to address IP issues and rights. He is involved with different activities of IED and Janoudyog for the development of IP communities. He became interested to receive skill training supported by IED. Then he communicated with IP fellow of Sherpur. As per the suggestions, he applied for skill training on tailoring at the local Sherpur market. He was very committed to develop skills on tailoring and accordingly he worked hard. After completion of 10 month training he got a job of monthly salary of TK. 6000/- at tailor shop. After few days, his performance was very satisfactory and skills have been highly increased for doing diversified tailoring works. Then the tailor shop has increased his salary. Now he is getting salary of TK. 12000/- per month.  He has involved another 3 IP youth in this tailoring shop. It is noted here that IED maintained continuous follow up to Mr. Niranjan and provided inspiration. Besides his daily works, he maintains good connection with the IP community.
