19th annual general meeting of IED held

19th annual general meeting was held on May 4, 2024 at HKS Areefin Conference Room, IED chaired by Dr. Rashid-E-Mahbub, chairman of IED. All the members were remained present. After welcoming all the AGM members, an overview and update position of the organization was highlighted. Then the secretary Mr. Numan Ahmed Khan, Executive Director of IED presented the report of the organization. After discussion of the report, the Treasurer of IED, Dr. Laila Arjumand Banu presented the treasurer’s report. After analytical discussion of both the reports that were praised and accepted by the members.

After that the existing executive and general committee were dissolved as the duration of the committees has been ended. Then election was held forming a three member election commission. The committee conducted the election and formed new committees (executive committee -7 members and general committee-21 members) for three years.

The new committees took over the responsibilities. The committees were inspired by all the members to play active role for the dynamism of the organization. The new chairman ended the meeting with vote of thanks.
